Maddy Olson is a queer illustrator and graphic designer who was born and raised in the Flathead Valley and truly embodies the Montana virtues of friendship, discovery, and adventure. She studied Illustration and Entertainment Art in Tacoma, Washington at the Northwest College of Art and Design earning herself a BFA in Visual Communication before returning home to work in Whitefish, MT as a prepress artist at a label company for over 2 years. Away from her desk job, she is a freelance illustrator and has completed works for Bitterroot Magazine among other small indie projects in addition to her personal work in fantasy illustration. Above all things, Maddy values human connection and forming lasting and meaningful connections with people of all walks of life through her art, words, and actions and has been active in local LGBTQA+ and Human Rights spaces for years. She currently lives in Columbia Falls with her mother, 3 cats, and 6 chickens.
